- Advisory - Owner's Representative (Southeast). JFD represents developers and owners - never the contractor - auditing bids and draws, running feasibility studies, and managing subcontractor default and program risk across Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia and North Carolina.
A project never receives both roles from JFD at once: when JFD is the owner's representative, it is not also the general contractor of record on that job. The independence of the advisory role is the point.
Fiduciary capital protection as a working philosophy
Every JFD engagement - build or audit - starts from the same premise: a developer's capital is not the contractor's to spend loosely. On the construction side, that means transparent Schedules of Values and pre-qualified subcontractors. On the advisory side, it means auditing another firm's pay applications and bids with the same scrutiny JFD applies to its own.
